Join us for the weekend of the Art Trail as an Art Collector and win an original North Bristol Artist’s artwork by completing your free passport with venue stamps.

How To Complete Your Passport

Each of our 50 venues has a unique stamp which can be used to stamp your Art Collector Passport.

We invite you to collect 8 unique venue stamps, or 6 small stamps and one large stamp.

You can pick up a passport from any venue and start your collection there and then.

Once you’ve filled your passport, complete your details and hand it in at a collection point before November 30th 2024.

Drawing The Winners

Come along for the grand prize draw on Saturday 7th December at 3pm at Room 212, Gloucester Road, BS7 8AL.

If your lucky passport is picked at random you will be able to add an amazing artwork to your collection.

Don’t worry if you can’t be there in person, we will be in touch with everyone whose passport is selected to arrange collection of their prize.

“Royal Poppies”

Acrylic on paper, framed 27cm x 33cm

Painted in Nancy’s typical impasto style, these highly textured red poppies against a blue background evoke memories from a Summer garden. The sparingly painted vase suggests light bouncing off and passing through water. Offered framed and ready to hang.

This original mixed media collage brings together colour, shape and texture to create the feeling of joy.

“Green Mandala”

Polymer clay bowl 11.5 cm across 3cm high

Caroline makes jewellery and other gift items using polymer clay. The medium is ideal for making lightweight but colourful work, this bowl has a mandala style design with delightfully intricate patterns.

Jug

Kirstin is inspired by being outside in the elements for the ceramic’s design. This piece is a jug decorated with the ‘water’ motif.

Michelle is an artist living and working in Bristol whose work focuses on intaglio printmaking. Experienced in a variety of techniques including copper etching, drypoint, photopolymer, collagraph, chine collé. Unexpected Discovery was exhibited at RWA 2022, Ironbridge Fine Arts 2023, AKA Fine Art, Cambridge 2024.

This painting in oil and cold wax is informed by the ‘golden road’ over the Preseli mountains. There was never any gold found in the Preselis – but this was the drover’s road bringing Irish gold over to England.

Aquaduct is an ink and watercolour painting inspired by the intriguing weirs and locks on the River Avon, particularly in the city of Bath. I have set out to capture the reflections and shifting light on the water as the clouds part and the sun shines through.

This is one of a series of paintings inspired by a journey to Croatia. I loved the slightly irregular shapes of the buildings, and the decorative elements of the design with its fairytale atmosphere.

Cathie usually spends upwards of 80 hours on her realist paintings of Bristol. But, when travelling, she keeps up her practice with daily sketches. ‘Porthleven’ in mixed media is one of these.
