I have been drawn to the process of throwing since I first started ceramics. Virtually all of my work is fired to stoneware (1260 – 1300C) as I particularly like the properties of the glazes and the fact that you are relying on knowledge and experience to give each piece the best chance of coming out of the kiln as you hoped.
