Bold and colourful painter/sculptor with a sense of humour. Enjoys live art especially with music and lyricism invading his imagery - hope springs eternal in his garage studio. It is not a case of art can be anything - more that creativity is at the core of all human beings. Camplin is a long standing driver of artist-led practice. Some energetic paintings, unique sculpture and a wildness that Billy Childish and Grayson Perry might applaud.
