I am continuing to focus on colour, patterns, and form in my latest woven work. I have been exploring large organic "pod" baskets using the coloured willows grown on an allotment I share with 5 other basket-makers.
I love working with the natural hues of willow and experimenting with how the colours can highlight parts of the woven form.
I continue to collaborate with Chris White at Hookshouse pottery to make vases that combine his wood-fired pottery with woven willow.
I am teaching more, both at home and over the last 2 years on the craft module for first year architecture students at Bath Spa University.
