I’m a realistic Spanish artist based in Bristol, UK.

My artistic journey is a fusion of diverse influences, life experiences, and passions that aim to celebrate the joy of the natural world in all its nuances.

1.Early Inspiration: I grew up in a home surrounded by art materials and the creative energy of my mother, a qualified artist and teacher. In this way, my art instruction started from an early age.

2.Medical Odyssey: As a qualified doctor, my previous career consisted of two decades as an NHS GP. A journey that taught me the value of really listening to the world around me, especially the tapestry of small nuances that bring richness to the whole—a skill I now bring to my art.

3.Celebration of Nature: My artwork is a vibrant celebration of the natural world, influenced by my Mediterranean upbringing and fueled by my passion for wild animals. Through intricate details and vibrant colors, I aim to evoke the joy and wonder of nature.

4.Medium and Technique: Working primarily with acrylics on wood panel, I apply multiple layers of paint and mediums to create texture and depth in my compositions. I often incorporate bright colors and gold leaf, reminiscent of the revered religious icons of ancient cultures, infusing my works with light, warmth, and a sense of reverence.

5.Connection Through Art: What truly drives my artistic passion is the connection forged with viewers through my work. Witnessing their reactions and emotions stirred by my paintings gives me an immense sense of joy and achievement.
