I have no formal art training but drawing and art have always been a part of my life. I started lino-printing a few years ago, on a rainy Sunday afternoon when I decided to pick up a lino-carving set I had received for Christmas. In my twenties I travelled for 3 months on my own around Japan, and many of my creative ideas come from that time which was very special to me. I also spent many childhood holidays in the French part of Switzerland visiting relatives, and Swiss mountains are a recurring theme in my art. My inspiration also comes from my love of nature, plants and animals.

I enjoy the slow, meditative process of lino carving. I make all my prints by hand and print them at home on my little press.
