Jo’s interests include hiking, cycling, rough camping, surfing, wild swimming and sailing. She studied geology at Bristol and her love of rocks is evident in many of her paintings.

In 2019 Jo spent nearly 7 months in a tent - on the tiny island of St Agnes. She is both invigorated by and finds peace and stillness in nature.

She has been inspired and encouraged by some fabulous local artists (and is eternally in their debt). They know who you are!
