Join North Bristol Artist Lu David for Art Club at her studio near Horfield Common, 6.30-8.30pm on alternate Tuesday and Wednesdays (check the schedule for exact dates.)
It is a space for grown-ups to come and dive into art making. It is a varied agenda – we use paint, markers, collage, and lo-fi printing techniques. Lu provides a prompt and short demo for each session and then opens up her art cupboard for everyone to make their own masterpiece.
Recent projects have included spinning cards, concertina books, and creating our own superhumans with superpowers and names. The session is open to all, whether you consider yourself a complete non-artist or have prior experience, everyone is welcome to come along and experiment. You’re free to follow your own ideas and creative path, although Lu is on hand to help if you get stuck or need extra guidance.
It happens on alternate Tuesdays and Wednesdays 6.30pm to 8.30pm. The session is repeated so most people sign up for just two a month, but there is no restriction. If you want try a session again, or return to finish your project off, please do!
Tickets for each session are £15, and you can book online here.
